Barking at the wrong tree

I had time to read different perspectives about Kim's comment from her interview. And while many of these criticisms are indeed valid, I still arrived at the same conclusion: you're taking her too seriously.First of all, since when did her opinion matter that much in american society and economy? She's probably speaking to instagram thots and LA influencers. Her flaunting of her wealth is her business model after all. Her net worth is scattered all around her properties, assets, business and personal belongings. She is rich, she is now wealthy but what she is NOT is a one-percenter. At best, they grew up to be upper-middle class and rubbed elbows with high-society people and fellow social climbers. Robert Kardashian Sr. was not able to grow the family business into a billion-dollar fortune. He died pretty much middle class. Kris had a taste for the good life but they were clearly overspending for years in order to keep up appearances. They were literally a laughingstock and looked down upon in their circles when they first launched their reality showThey had to downsize their lifestyle considerably during the first few years of becoming a blended family with the Jenners. And while Kris and family had access to a good network of people in higher places, they were never really considered one of them up until the last decade. They are the ultimate noveau richeThey sold and endorsed any and every product that came their way to work their way up to the wealth and clout they have now. Even still, they are not among the elite. They're hollywood fancy now but truth be told, they are just as wealthy as many ordinary rich people around the world. This also shows in the people they married and had kids with. None of those men are prominent names in american high societySure, the Kardashian grew up with privilege and are off-base on a lot of things that the ordinary folk experiences. But why are we pretending that they should be otherwise? I could totally understand calling out their privilege in the midst of their comments but people need to get a grip. It's as if Kim killed their firstborn or something. Also, attributing "eat the rich" to them is a silly attempt at social wokeness. You're barking at the wrong tree. Try Rothschilds and Rockefellers among other trillionaires in the ruling class that run the show and give orders to your politicians and military
