I’m not very experienced with Reddit so the body of this is a copy/paste of the body of a post in the Spectrum subreddit. Not sure how people put posts from other subreddits honestly. Anyway:Over the last month or so, we have had a technician come to our house to fix our issue. Each time, he has replaced every piece of equipment, run tests, and said it was fixed. The issues were back that night.The issues:Basically, we cannot go a day without resetting our router/modem multiple times. Sometimes it doesn’t help and takes a while, but most times it is ok within 10 minutes.The app and reports from the tech’s side show that there is no downtime. The router and modem are connected on the app (even though I have to go onto data for it to actually load on my phone).The network name keeps resetting each time we change it. We name it something custom, just for it to become “spectrumsetup-##” (97 and 23 from the 2 sets of equipment).Another problem with that is that the wired connection is still named 97 and never has WiFi. Speaking of, I have seen forum posts about this issue but it has also been through wired connections.It is so frustrating to pay for 1 gbps and have these issues. Then we have had to waste time and money to have these technician visits. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
