Honestly it’s all in the title. 24 hour news networks are 15 minutes of possibly new information per day and the rest is some annoying think they know it alls speculating on what they think will happen based on it for the rest of the 23 hours and 45 minutes of the day. And dear lord the opinions endless opinions that add nothing of value to anyone. If they want to exist they should give the rundown of actual news, no opinions, no speculation and cut to weather. If something else happens in the world cut back to an anchor give us the news, historical context and then cut back to the weather. How do all these people have jobs? Each network should have 3 anchors, day shift, night shift, 3rd shift, regular 8 hour shifts making max $30 per hour. None of them should be allowed to have social media to keep spewing nonsense after their shift is over either. I’m sick of it the fact that these people work an hour a day on screen and somehow believe themselves to be celebrities is disgusting, no sir or ma’am limit your words to relevant brand new happening in the world and whatever historical context it may have then shut it.
