Cox Panoramic WIFI and DECO Mesh Network Question

I have recently installed Cox Panoramic WIFI router but I also have Deco Mesh network with main Deco next to the router. Does it make sense to set them up with the same network name or should I keep them separate? Or maybe keep the Cox in one place and run a line for Deco to another place with the same network name? Would it hurt anything in terms of speed?
