I moved into an apartment two years ago, and I originally set up my modem in a different bedroom. It’s not a big apartment, and the only thing separating the two bedrooms is a small living room space between. I didn’t have much WiFi issues before besides the occasional drop when I used my laptop, but I bought a new PC and placed it in my room. The WiFi connection was super atrocious on the new PC to the point where it took 20 hours to download STALKER 2. I tried moving the modem to my room, because I didn’t want to deal with running an Ethernet cable from bedroom to bedroom. After I set it up, the network name shows up but can’t connect to the internet. The US/DS lights keep blinking. It was working normally when I had it in the other room, but my only guess is that the coax outlet was bad which originally was the reason I didn’t set up in the living room. Would there be any other reasons it’s doing that or is my hunch sort of correct?
