These fixes has solved 90+% of my stuttering issues in GTA V/GTA online so i have decided to post them to help the community. Here we go:CPU/DRAM/GPU Overclocking : Nothing extreme, just +300-500 Mhz on CPU base clock for those who have an unlocked processor, don't exceed 1.29 volts on an air cooler and for the DRAM (DON'T USE XMP) Use a speed setting from the drop down menu, use the highest one your system can handle. The default voltage and cas latency is good enough. And for the GPU, i suggest no overclocking. GTA V/GTA Online tends to get buggy.Drivers : I would suggest to use the drivers windows have already installed, i find that manually installing drivers causes a lot of issues, some i can't even begin to explain. And this goes for Graphics drivers too. Using Nvidia's Geforce Experience and newer drivers caused more issues than they solved, at one point in time the newer drivers caused artifacting in GTA V/GTA Online for some reason. These days i just use whatever windows has automatically installed (less issues). I use to use GE to record videos and afterburner's rivatuner to monitor FPS and temps but they're too taxing and too intrusive. I'm actually using windows Game bar to capture videos and monitor FPS and it's not bad at all and FARRRR less taxing.Monitor : Depending on your panel type LCD/LED and so on, the marketed refresh rate makes the monitor "unstable" some of the jittering/stuttering you're seeing is not only from the game/software/hardware/network but from the monitor itself it can't run stable at the marketed refresh rate, and the default settings in Nvidia's control panel for resolution does not work well with these monitors. For instance, i'm using a BenQ 144 Hz TN panel and when i try to make a custom resolution at 144 Hz or above it fails the test, i had to go all the way down to 124 Hz for it to past the test. Also when making a custom resolution, down at the bottom where it says "timing" change the standard from automatic to CVT reduced blank (this is crucial) it makes all the difference and yes the 124 Hz looks and feels every bit like the 144 Hz.Audio : In windows 10 sound playback and recording, disable all devices that are not being used those other devices will cause issues. Now this is the key to having good audio live and in recordings/captures. In playback and recording only use the 16 bit, 48000Hz (DVD Quality) Device format DO NOT USE WINDOWS 10 DEFAULT SETTINGS! Anything higher will mess up your audio especially in recordings/captures.Graphics Settings : I'm using Nvidia so i can only speak on that. In Nvidia's control panel 3D settings, adjust image settings , select "let the 3D application decide". If you need to adjust any settings for any game, like for instance GTA V, go to manage 3D settings, program settings and make the adjustment there. You can make the adjustment and still keep the default global settings. Now this part is crucial, above 140 Fps GTA V's game engine bugs out and start stuttering even more so in the pause menu to the point that it doesn't even register inputs SOLUTION? Put a hard cap on GTA V of 140 Fps, and your done. Let me know if these fixes helped or not.
