People saying they can't "keep up" with product is absolutely pathetic.Personally, I have a simple API script that fetches all the spoilers and leaks to a personal database, I then send these in real-time via push notifications to my phone. My app over-rides do not disturb too, so never miss it. To ensure I'm mentally encoding cards, each new card is pushed from the API to my AnkiApp Flashcard database, so I begin memorizing each set prior to release.Naturally, I also have a MTGStocks API tracking prices of all new cards. I am running a ensemble of artificial neural networks to forecast prices (though a simple feed forward network with backward propagation errors would work too). I then have stop price buyouts set for every rare and mythic, which execute a purchase bot at the web-scraped cheapest price (no I won't tell you exactly how my code works you can work it out yourself).Anybody capable of playing a combo deck could replicate this in a few hours, so can we shut up about how many products are coming out?If you ask me, I think we need more releases each year. I do believe WOTC should return to block releases (i.e., 3 sets per block) — but have a block released every quarter, summing to 12 sets annually total. Analytically speaking, this would be the sweet spot.
