So I'm a 35 years old man, I work as a teacher, I have friends but most of them are in couples/not hanging out often, so I don't have a circle of close friends to hang out with. It's not so nice because sometimes I would like to go to specific events and I don't go since I don't want to go alone. What I hate most of my life and my city (a city in Italy), is that if you don't work hard to keep a network of friends alive, then you end up being alone, since I'm a loner and suffered of depression in the past, plus I have an hard time making new friends just randomly and also lived abroad for years, it's very hard to get to know new people. What could I do? I don't do sports, just run with a friend of mine who is in a couple, I like electronic music, but again I don't have friends to play modular synths with. So I don't know what to do, I'm staying at home and it's a friday night
