Basically Title.I've got my service provider dropping into an OPNSense FW for NAT/DHCP/DNS and NGFW.From there we drop into a 1Gbps PoE Switch (Aruba 6100).I'd like to run 3 APs via PoE from that switch. All hard wired over 6a already, easy, anyone does that.I'd like a 4th AP to mesh into the system. Preferably powered via a AC/DC connection. But I don't mind just tossing a PoE injector into the bedroom. This 4th Meshed AP should support having an ethernet device connected to it (dumb Sonos speaker with broken WiFi).Network is flat, not worried about VLANs or anything fancy on the LAN side, single SSID.Seems really easy to find any home level mesh network that works, but they're all AC powered, I'd really love to have PoE 6E/7 APs. The mesh point can be literally anything, it's just there to backhaul an ethernet connection for the speaker and get a hint of connection into the back yard.Right now leaning heavily into Alta labs as it seems they'd support this configuration, but no WiFi 6E/7 is frustrating as I already have plenty of devices that support 6E/7 and would love to futureproof. Budget isn't critical, but I'd prefer to keep it under $300 per AP.https://ift.tt/kF963dx
