Hi everyone,I’m an aspiring Business Analyst and would really appreciate some feedback or advice. My background:Degree: BA in Business Management & administration- 2:1.Certifications: BCS Foundation in Business Analysis (completed), currently working towards the BCS International Diploma.(on track to finish 1st September) Work experience:• Motorsport (tyre operations) — handled stock/resource audits, collaborated with teams in high-pressure environments, and managed stakeholder communication at racing events.• Past bar/kitchen roles — customer-facing, teamwork, and time management. My struggle:• I applied for around 70 BA/graduate scheme roles after graduating last year but received little/no response.• I’ve updated my CV with my new certifications, but I’m not sure if I’m framing my experience correctly for BA roles or if I need anything else to look appealing(I’m willing to learn anything I must).I’m wondering if I should:Keep applying to grad schemesLook for internships/entry analyst roles (PMO/Data Analyst)Focus on networking and reaching out directly to people in the industry.Example CV bullets (rewritten from my motorsport job):• Performed resource audits to maintain stock• Work with race teams, customers, suppliers and event ops to agree delivery slots, log issues and get them fixed quickly.• Manage prep and dispatch from intake to handoverQuestions:Do these bullets sound BA-relevant, or should I reframe them differently? Is there anything I might be overlooking in terms of strategy? Thanks in advance for any advice, i really want to break into the BA space and make sure I’m positioning myself the right way.
