After reading chapter 7, I just couldn't help but notice how this new first year girl is indirectly linking everyone together. We have Utomiya, who Kiyo is curious about, hanging around the girl in a way that some suspect could be a budding romance, and because of that Kiyo has now been made aware of the girl and would be looking out for her in the gym. You have Horikita, who is investigating the first year case and how an athletic girl could have been the aggressor. Without a doubt she would stumble on that first year girl because only her fits the description so far.Nanase has obviously noticed the girl previously and is probably keeping an eye on her, which makes me wonder if she'll interfere with Horikita's investigative trail. Once Horikita learns about the girl's athletic abilities she would add her to her list of suspects of people that likely went to the same institution as Kiyo. Little does she know the girl could belong to one of three operating factions 😂, but undeniably they are all connected so she would still eventually arrive at something meaningful.Nanase and Shiraishi's conversation is really interesting, the idea that there are several dormant observers within ANHS from a different institution. And three key players: Atsuomi, Tsukishiro and this Shirogane-sensei, each with their own surveillance network. So far Horikita is tied to two of the factions (Ishigami, Nanase and Amasawa. Amasawa is more of a wildcard). Possibly she encounters one of the observers soon, if she hasn't already. The new girl could belong to any or none of the three factions, but maybe minus Tsukishiro, since Nanase doesn't seem to know her. Unless Tsukishiro is just playing his cards close to his chest and intentionally didn't tell Nanase about the girl if she is connected to him. Else, she could be a white roomer, or from another school, like Shiraishi.Lastly, this is just a hunch, but what if there's an institution that is built of off continuing to groom the white room drop outs? What if the people who dropped out weren't killed off, at least not all of them, and there was another operation to continue to train those kids, as a parallel white room that is funded by someone else? Or, a good Samaritan just wanted to repurpose and rehabilitate the drop outs? Because this Shirogane-sensei person seems like a mentor type of person based on how he's spoken about. If he saved his students from a traumatic background like the white room, it would explain the respect they have for him. And Shiraishi says she doesn't like Tsukishiro. Could be because of his one man army interests. Or because he's affiliated with Atsuomi and the original white room.I just feel it could explain why Shiraishi seems familiar with Kiyo in some way, as well as being unusually fascinated with him, and slightly worried he'll figure her out, while not being Yuki exactly. She could have been together with him in the white room at some point.
