So after too many years of frustration, I am about to change my home network equipment. Within the home, I am in the process of moving my lab into the same room as the internet equipment. The current internet speed is 500/50, but looking to update to 1Gig/100 soon. In our home, we have IP Security cameras, 5 other hard-wired devices in the other rooms, and about 30 IOT items that rely on my Samsung SmartThings all with VLAN tags. Currently, my only plan of what to keep as Ubiquiti is my US6 Lite AP as it has been a champ. If I change that I will likely go to a US6 Pro since they are available now.My current setup is an Edgerouter X(ER-10X) and then my lab area has a US-8 Unifi switch. It started life as USG 8 port switch which died in 6 months and since I didn't buy it from UI, they refused to cover the warranty. I am tired of being the guinea pig with Ubiquiti for what to expect out of their products.Originally I was going to go with an RB5009, in the back room and then add a CRS112 in my lab area. But since being able to move the lab I was thinking more about Keeping the RB5009 and going with CSS326. I am waiting on my CSS326 to come in, but having issues finding an RB5009. My question is am I overlooking another router that is more plentiful that still retains the SFP+ for my connection to the router. Thank you for the help on this, this community is part of the reason why I've chosen to go with MikroTik versus other competitors.
