Remote Backup advice

Hello! I had a question I am trying to figure out. I currently have a 16tb Pool of hdds on my main PC backing up over our local network to a second older PC in the living room. I am moving to college in the fall and plan on taking my main PC with me and wanted to keep the back up PC at the house im leaving. Is there a safe way to continue this backup process? Both PCs are windows and I just use network share and windows backup as of now.Thanks in advance!
