Hey DIYUK!I'm in the process of rewiring my house and would like to run Cat 6 ethernet throughout the house. I will have gigabit internet so would like the network to support that. I have a few questions I hope you can help with?1) I've gone for twisted unshielded over shielded (read online that shielded can be hard to install correctly and slightly overkill), is this a good assumption?2) I've made my best attempts to keep the ethernet and power wires a joist apart, but there are overlaps (usually 90 degrees), is this going to be a problem?3) I'm planning to use an unmanaged gigabit (https://ift.tt/Rwi0Zpt), is this suitable for the job?4) How closely can I place the ethernet sockets to the power sockets? Aesthetically I'd like them close, but I don't want to risk any interface.Any help is massively appreciated!
