Virtual Chassis

full image - Repost: Virtual Chassis (from Reddit.com, Virtual Chassis)
I am attempting to add a second switch to an existing functional system. I want to provide redundancy between the two switches (connections from each switch going to servers, allowing for 1 to go offline and keep networking)I installed a second (switch B) ex4300-48mp switch (same as the first (switch A)) and reset switch b. I think shut down switch B, installed the link in the dedicated VC ports on the back of each switch, and rebooted. There isnt much in documentation that i can see beyond this that I need to configure. both switches are showing as present in the virtual chassis (see below). Both switches were running the same version of junosHowever, networking on switch B isnt currently working. What else do I need to configure for networking to function correctly on the second switch and how could I troubleshoot this further? Is Virtual Chassis the way I should go for this? It seemed like the built in way to do this as I have dedicated ports for it.Switch A is currently connected to Firewall A and is working (and was working before). Switch B I have tried connecting or not connecting to Firewall A to see if it would work. Connection to the firewall is a link aggregation group carrying the native vlan + another as a trunk interface.Current Virtual Chassis:{master:0} show virtual-chassis status Virtual Chassis ID: 23ab.0c38.62a2 Virtual Chassis Mode: Enabled Mstr Mixed Route Neighbor List Member ID Status Serial No Model prio Role Mode Mode ID Interface 0 (FPC 0) Prsnt XXXXXXXXXXXX ex4300-48mp 255 Master* N VC 1 vc p-255/1/0 1 (FPC 1) Prsnt XXXXXXXXXXXX ex4300-48mp 128 Backup N VC 0 vc p-255/1/0
