Newbie question

Hi,I’m not an IT person but a quick learner. I’ve just built a house extension and had cabling put in the WAPs, cameras and data points. I have a PoE switch and data is flowing. I’ve only bought and installed one Ubiquiti WAP. I think I’ve set it up right, but all it’s done is create a second wifi network. If I want multiple WAPs that work together on the same network, (I think it’s called a mesh?) do I need a piece of hardware for the rack (is it a console?)?If I want to add cameras, will the same thing be able to manage those? I’ll probably need to add recorders or something. I’m trying to keep things light and simple. It’s just a house and I’m getting to the edge of my skill level here. Ubiquiti cameras only seem to go to 2k which I thought was a bit odd. Any help people can give, even starting points would be much appreciated. Thanks.
