Sony and 2 differentHDR-only vs Dolby Vision releases for the same exact movie

First off, I want to give Sony props for doing right by physical media. They are by far the best of the big studios when it comes to physical media. They take the time to do transfers correctly, they don't do limited releases that go out of print and out of stock, and they actually go back and improve existing discs (HDR -> DV).However there are 2 issues with their current strategy.1) While they're upgrading previous discs that were HDR only to add Dolby Vision (e.g. Men in Black, Stand By Me), the new releases with DV are only available in steelbooks. This is not cool. Again, I have to give them props because at least they are now adding DV to every new release instead of cheating out (looking at you Disney, stop ruining your physical releases). But c'mon now don't force me to get a steelbook and pay a surcharge just because I want DV.2) Locking certain titles and DV versions into box sets. This is actually the worst thing Sony does imo. Why is Social Network only available as part of a Columbia Classics box set. Similarly, for Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon the DV version is only available in a Columbia Classics box set. On top of that they don't even keep production up for these, so now the box set with Social Network has been sold out for a while and going at outrageous prices.
