Hey guys, I'm a bit stuck and could do with some help please.I'm backing up from my Nimbustor (AS5304T) to a fairly powerful mini PC running OMV via 'Remote Sync' in 'Backup Central'. The drive I'm backing up to is a 26TB drive that has 22TB of data on it, and the data that's on it is a mirror of the data I'm backing up (i.e the files have the same metadata). I'm currently testing how backing up using this method would work on my local network before taking the OMV device to its new home (a remote network). The issue is that although it's only confirming that the metadata matches (at both the source and destination), it's incredibly slow. The backup jobs I've set up are one-on-one, and the only option I have ticked is to 'keep file metadata'. I've started with a 2TB 'backup' and it's been going for over 3 hours now but is still on 0%.I've tried to see if I can get to the bottom of the issue with ChatGPT, ran loads of SSH commands on both ends, and it's convinced the bottleneck is ADM: 'ADM’s rsync module client is still single‑threaded and extremely slow with huge numbers of small files. It’s not the protocol that’s the problem — it’s ADM’s implementation.'It's important that I backup my data to a remote location, but given the current speed I'm getting, that's just not going to be viable. Is there either anything I'm doing wrong, or an alternative route I can try (such as using a different app)? Any help would be appreciated :)
