Hi everyone - I wanted to get some advice.I’m a retail pharmacy manager and I really want to branch out in another way. I’m basically looking into am care and PBM but what I would really love to do is industry.I’ve read ADP’s guide and also was thinking about the possibility of going back to do a fellowship (though who knows if I would even be able to get one). When I was looking through the list of fellowships I came across one that mentioned a masters in regulatory science/masters of science in regulatory affairs.I have never heard of this before so I looked into it and they claim that this will help you get into pharma. Obviously I’m kind of skeptical and I know they just want my money. I’ve seen people on here mention masters but wasn’t sure in what so I’m sorry if this question is redundant.I have a lot of things going against me - I am kinda stuck where I live (can’t move due to family) and I don’t work in the state I went to school in so I don’t really know any pharmacists here. Due to my retail schedule I can’t just really get up and go to conferences to network with people.I feel like the masters could give me another outlet to network. the only thing keeping me from jumping right in and doing it tomorrow is the fact that it does cost $52,000 which I can afford without loans but also don’t want to just throw away in the wind if it’s going to keep me right at square 1.Thanks for any insight anyone can provide!
