Hi All. I would love advice on what would be best for my circumstances. It has been suggested to me that a Tri-Band Mesh Router would be the best way to go for my use. The problem is that I keep running in circles looking at customer reviews of the different units on the market. For all of the good reviews, there are enough bad ones that give me pause. The main goal would be to have a network that is as reliable as possible .About me: I am not very technically advanced. I can set up a router and add devices, but beyond that I will probably need some tech support.About my House/Needs:3700 sq ft, 2 story main house with a detached single story 280 sq ft tiny house on same lot (about 50 ft away from main house).I have 2 GIG internet and only one access point to the cable modem (located in our garage).My husband and I both work from home - so both could be on video conference simultaneously at any given time. I am connected to my office via SplashTop all day. He does most of his work from his phone.Mother-in-law lives with us and streams TV ALL day.We are turning the tiny home into a short term rental and need to have dedicated guest access for streaming/working.We have plenty of auxiliary smart home devices - smart TV's, smart bulbs, Echo Shows, smart lock, water leak & wireless security alarms, smart outlets for holiday lighting, etc.We have an array of tablets, Roku's, laptops and cell phones between the 3 of us.I would like to keep the cost under $500, if possible.
