just felt like coming on here to talk abt what i went thru as an optimum customer. if you havent got optimum and are thinking of it, just read this or the other posts here and see why you dont want to get it.Internet- we got 300/300 fiber internet service, problems began before we even got the internet working. Technician comes and installs coax internet (we ordered fiber) and furthermore, the guy who came to our house didnt even KNOW that we wanted internet installed. Then, after the tech left we had to wait almost 12 hours for the internet to start working. Then when we got our first bill, they charged 140 dollars (instead of the advertised 30 dollars) for internet service which i was in a call for 2 hours and through 4 employees to fix the price. Apparently because we got coax rather than fiber the bill got messed up. shouldnt have been a problem in the first place. Installation of fiber was great though, tech knew what he was doing very well. I did notice that the router/gateway range got significantly worse. I guess other than that, basic internet worked without hitches.Mobile- Mobile was actually fine. Didn't go through too much. only cancelled because the signal wasn't good in our area but theyre under t-mobiles network so not necessarily their fault. No problems with bills or anything like that.Cancellation- Cancellation for mobile and internet was a pain in the butt, techs offered deals for keepign their service (which i get obviously) but consisted to keep offering for 20 minutes after i tell them that i had other services from other companies installed and did not want any deals, i mean i understand they want to keep customers but would appreciate if they listened when i said i didnt want their deals.pretty much it, ik my experiences arent as bad as other ppl ive seen on this sub but some of these just shouldnt be a thing
