No issue with memory cards on the PS3.RetroTINK 5X-Pro with a PS2 is overhyped - Yes, I said it. It looks good, but honestly having both setups, the PS3 + mClassic looks WAY better. Some background:I have a FMCB Fat PS2 with a SSD+SATA network Adapter connected to my 4K TV via a RetroTINK 5X-Pro. This is what reddit told me was the best way to experience PS2 games in the modern non-CRT era, while still using original hardware.I then found a mint, low hours CECHA01 BC PS3 on ebay. Did the usual; cleaning, re-paste, jailbroke it and a 1TB SSD. Also purchased an mClassic to aid in upscaling.Since then, my PS2 has been collecting dust. Apart from the reliability aspect that is associated with owning a Phat PS3, I cannot think of any other downside:Ease of Use - A JB PS3 is so much more user friendly and polished than a FMCB PS2. Not to mention adding new backups to a PS3 is infinitely easier than on a PS2."Original Hardware" Compatibility - Any game you can play on a PS2 you can also play on a HW BC PS3. Not to mention now you get smoothing options if you want. (I personally keep smoothing off on the PS3 and let the mClassic do the upscaling for better quality and latency)You can play PS1 games & PS3 games.Using a PS2>USB adapter you can still use the original DualShock 2 controller.I keep my fans at a quiet 29% when running PS2 games, and my temps are below 60CNative wireless controllersYou can play PSP gamesRetroarchMemory Card Space - This is one major benefit not many people bring up; once you load up your FMCB memory card with all the apps you want, there's not much space left on your OG 8MB memory card for game saves.
