I submitted the post to soon, I see that mining right now is profitable, I meant that my calculations have buying spot is more profitable than trying to mine Looking at the rate in which network hashrate has been increasing and the schedule for reduction in block rewards, the way I modeled it out, it looks like buying spot makes much more sense because the return per GH keeps decreasing. So I'm just not sure where I am missing something, is network hashrate suppose to level out soon? Even if you factor in selling your miner equipment, that has to have significant depreciation as time goes on, and I find that buying spot would give you more KAS than the KAS returns for the lifespan of your miner.
