Hey I'm somehow still alive on my first playthrough w/ very few trees. I've pushed out my walls and set up a perimeter of laser turrets + FLAMETHROWERS. I've done the best I could by playing around natural barriers afforded to me. I now have several, albeit dispersed, blocks of land that I want to expand into to get my yellow and purple science caught up.I'm using the https://ift.tt/IimvXHJ to "request" specific item inventory stocks from just about everything I'll need. My idea is to have them come into that station from whatever secure location they may be coming from, separate them back into nice buses, and utilize them where I have secure land. On to the specific question: is there a better way to do this? Here's what I'm doing to separate the bucket of stuff out into buses. (don't mind the boxes in the middle of the buses, I was moving things around, my inventory was full, and letting the bots do it needlessly spikes energy production from the charging, needlessly enraging my neighbors): https://ift.tt/HEIA7z3. if anyone is interested in my map view, here's the current state of the macro of the situation I'm in: I've researched everything not requiring yellow or purple bottles. https://ift.tt/GHRYvFL north border is under constant assault but fairly stable. You can make out where I've set up another wall in the SW near "Stone Town." The east and southeast outposts are walled up and constantly supplied with oil for flamethrowers. I need to push north for a secondary oil patch and uranium. I plan to do something incredibly polluting on the easily defensible peninsula thrusting into the lake on the Southeastern border.
