How to get HomePod mini pair to default to using ATV4k for connection

So apparently Apple created a feature for HomePods to use a hardwired Apple TV as a sort-of bridge for connection rather than Wi-Fi.Over the last couple months, I’ve noticed my HomePods randomly displaying as wired connections in my home network. During this time, responsiveness and overall performance was night and day better, but for some reason they keep reverting back to Wi-Fi.Is there any way to get my HomePods to default to using my ATV for connection? I have tried resetting my HomePods to no avail.
