Received a notice that we have to vacate premises no later than 9/22/22 due to them not coming to an agreement with the homeowners, my lease (we all have separate leases) doesn’t expire until 5/31/23. Is this legal?Hi there Caylon,    My name is [redacted] and I am a member of the Trust and Safety team with Bungalow. I wanted to reach out to you today and advise that we have just been updated that our Master Lease at [redacted], 3, Ridgewood, NEW YORK, 11385 is ending on 9/22/2022. Keeping our homeowners and residents within the Bungalow community is extremely important to us, but unfortunately, we have come to a mutual agreement with this homeowner that we will no longer be managing their property after 9/22/2022.     Due to this, we will need all residents to completely vacate the property no later than 9/17/2022 in order to allow our team time to return the property to its original conditions. We understand there can be many questions or concerns that arise when looking to relocate, as such, I will be your point-person to walk you through this and I'm hoping to help find a good solution for you.    Move-Out Options: One option we can offer is a transfer into another Bungalow. Given the timeframe, we have flexibility in when you could do this. The homes on our website are constantly updated to reflect the most up-to-date availability and pricing. You can use the sliders on a property page to see what the prices are depending on the move-in date and lease length. We could facilitate a transfer at any point from now until 9/17/2022, but recommend getting the process started as soon as possible so that you have time to find a good fit! We would love to keep you within the Bungalow community and as such, are willing to help facilitate your transfer into a new Bungalow home by providing a moving stipend of $250.00. This would be a credit added to your Bungalow payment portal to be deducted from your monthly rent.    If you are not interested in a transfer, you would be able to terminate your lease and move out by 9/17/2022 or sooner. To help provide flexibility, you would be able to move out any time starting 8/17/2022 until the date of 9/17/2022, penalty-free.    Move-Out Inspection/ Maintenance: Per the leasing agreement, residents are to report any damage on the property via the Bungalow Mobile App, if there is any damage that has not been reported to our team and needs to be performed after you have vacated the property, we will be billing this back through the security deposit. You are specifically responsible for your dedicated bedroom and any damage that exists in the bedroom will be solely billed back to your account. Damage that exists in the common areas will be divided amongst the housemates and billed back.    We understand living on the property does come with standard wear and tear in the residency and will not bill for minor wear and tear items! We understand a situation like this is not ideal, and I hope that through our network of Bungalows we are able to make this transition a smooth one. I want to ensure each of you has ample notice and time to look for new housing so please confirm receipt of this notice.    Thank you,
